I wanted to create 10 masculine thank you cards for my local Meals on Wheels and this is the last. I love this die from Honey Bee Stamps. Maybe because I grew up with actual records and I love music. Awhile ago I found this matt shine black cardstock. It really looks like a vinyl record when cut with this record player die.
The die set includes all you need to create a record player and the record. I based the color scheme with the patterned paper I selected. It was cut down with a stitched rectangle die that would cover the front of an A2 cardbase. It was adhered in place with dotliner adhesive.
The records was cut from black vinyl cardstock, the arm of the record player was cut from silver mirror cardstock and the ends of arm with red cardstock. The center of the record was cut from both white and red cardstock and the sentiments were stamped with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed white, which was adhered to the center of the record with liquid glue. A smaller circle of sticky back foam was cut and adhered to the back of the record. For this card I only used the record, label, and the arm of the die. Each was adhered with liquid glue and a combination of Simon Says Stamp Big Mama Foam Tape on the ends of the arm. To finish the record player look two black enamel dots were adhered in place for the knobs of the record player.
