Floral Stems You Deserve a Beautiful Day

cardtheraphy51

I don't remember using these layering dies from Spellbinders before, but they make a lovely card. I cut the flowers and leaves from white cardstock and ink blended the color.

I recently purchased the Penny Black All-in-One Hexagon die. It creates a lovely frame and also a decorative edge. I cut down the decorative edge and adhered it to the bottom of an A2 cardbase with liquid glue. It add some great visual interest. I took the hexagon frame and added foam strips to the back for added dimension. I also traced around the frame and created a background panel that was ink blended with a soft blue in. The sentiment was stamped in the upper right of the panel and then it was adhered to the frame by removing the backing paper. The frame was then adhered to the card front with liquid glue.

The flowers were arranged around the hexagon frame and adhered in place with liquid glue and foam squares.
