Floating Balloons Happy Birthday

Now that I had created a lot of flower birthday cards, it was time to create some masculine cards. I cut a stitched rectangle from white cardstock and pulled out a new embossing folder from Spellbinders, Floating Balloons. I decided to color the balloon with a rainbow of pastel colors using Copic Markers.

When the coloring was complete I added a large sentiment with a shadow. The shadow was cut from black cardstock and the sentiment from white. The shadow was cut again from black sticky back foam. It was adhered in the upper third of the card. I decided to mat the card with black cardstock. The focal image panel was adhered to a top folding cardbase with dotliner adhesive and the card was done. A quick and easy design.
