Another young friend of mine just graduation from high school and will be off to college in the fall. I pulled another another digital image and printed in the Silhouette Cameo software with registration marks so it could be cut out and placed on a card.
Lizzie's favorite colors are blue and turquoise, so those are the colors of Copic Markers used to color the image.
I wanted to add some visual interest behind the image and pulled out Your Best Stamp's Confetti Panel and cut it from white cardstock. Another panel of white cardstock was ink blended with blue and teal Oxide Inks and cut down to be just smaller then the confetti panel. The two where adhered together with liquid glue. Simon Says Stamp Big Mama Foam Tape was added to the back and the confetti panel was adhered to a top folding cardbase.
I wanted a sentiment that would not only be good for a birthday, but also for the new adventures adhered. I decided on this one from Penny Black "Enjoy Every Moment." I ink blended a scrap of white cardstock with Distress Oxide Chipped Sapphire and after it was dry stamped the sentiment with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it white. I cut it out using an Ellen Hutson Essential Rectangle, which I did partial die cutting to make it shorter. The great thing about these dies it that it also cuts a thin from. The fame was blended with Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina and added outside the sentiment with Scotch Tape. It was adhered to the bottom right of the card front with Big Mama foam Tape. The same foam tape was added to the girl, except the leg where it would overlap the sentiment and the card was done.
