I like to pull out my layering flower dies and create a lot of cards all at once. There is something about the dimension of these cards that I really like.
This card uses Simon Says Stamp's/Memory Box Dreamy Daisy Layers Die. I cut the flowers from a light yellow cardstock and ink blended the center of the flowers and the tip of the petals with a darker yellow ink. The layers were adhered together with liquid glue. This die does not come with leaves so I pulled out Simon Says Stamp Olive Leaves and cut the large and small leaves from a grass green cardstock and ink blended the center and bottom of the leaves with a dark green ink.
A panel of white cardstock was cut down using one of my favorite dies, Little B Frames. Foam tape was added to the back. I had some Whisper cardstock sitting on my desk from a previous card and decided to use it as the card base. The leaves were adhered with liquid glue and the flower with a combination of liquid glue and foam squares.
I decided to add rhinestones as the center of the flowers, but I didn't have a brown on hand. I pulled out yellow rhinestones and changed their color with a Copic Marker.
I pulled out a previously hot foiled sentiment and adhered it in place with a combination of liquid glue and foam squares. A few gold confetti circles were scattered around the flowers and the card was done.
