I have two friends who have recently been in the hospital. One will have a significant recover time. Another friend I haven't seen for awhile who has been on my mind. I made three similar cards with different colored flowers to send to them.
I used the Simon Says Stamp Divine Peony Die. I cut it from white cardstock and ink blended to add color. I cut a quarter sheet of cardstock and dry embossed it with the Vine Canopy Embossing Folder from Simon Says Stamp. It was adhered to a top folding cardbase with dotliner adhesive.
A gold arch frame was cut from mirror cardstock using the Simon Says Stamp Nested Domed Arch die. It was adhered to the card front with liquid glue and the flower and leaves die was adhered in the center with a combination of liquid glue and foam squares.
For two of the cards a "hello" die was cut from gold mirror cardstock and three additional times from white. They were adhered together and in place with liquid glue.
The third card uses a sentiment from the new Simon Says Stamp Graceful Flowers Stamp. It was stamped with VersaMark Ink, cut out with the coordinating die, and adhered in place with foam squares.
The picture is pretty blurry. I didn't realize that until they were already sent, but you can still see how pretty they turned out.
