Color Burst Rose Flurries

I was going through on of my drawers and saw my stash of Ken Oliver Color Burst Powders and decided it was time to pull them out and create some cards. There will be several cards using this medium.

I pulled out some watercolor paper and cut it into quarter sheets. I created a lot of different colors and several green paper for leaves and foliage. I sprayed the powders with Perfect Pearl water, giving them a beautiful shine and shimmer.

For this card I pulled out some old dies from Altenew and cut them from orange color burst paper. The layers were adhered together with liquid glue.

Avery Elle's Horizontal Stripes die was used to cut twice from heavy weight white cardstock as the background for the florals. It was adhered to a top folding cardbase using Whisper Cardstock from Gina K. Designs with liquid glue.

The flowers were laid in place to determine where to stamp the sentiment. They were then adhered with a combination of liquid glue and foam squares.
