I was going through on of my drawers and saw my stash of Ken Oliver Color Burst Powders and decided it was time to pull them out and create some cards. There will be several cards using this medium.
I pulled out some watercolor paper and cut it into quarter sheets. I created a lot of different colors and several green paper for leaves and foliage. I sprayed the powders with Perfect Pearl water, giving them a beautiful shine and shimmer.
The flower layers were cut from red color burst cardstock. The layers were adhered together with low loft foam squares. The flower centers were cut from the same red cardstock, but then colored with Copic Markers to make the center a deep gray, those layers were adhered together and to the flower with liquid glue.
A panel of white cardstock was cut down with a scalloped rectangle die and dry embossed with the Simon Says Stamp Dibble Tile Embossing Folder. It was adhered directly to the from of a landscape cardbase with liquid glue. The flowers and leaves were adhered in place with liquid glue as well.
The sentiment had been previously hot foiled and was adhered with foam squares.
