I was going through on of my drawers and saw my stash of Ken Oliver Color Burst Powders and decided it was time to pull them out and create some cards. There will be several cards using this medium.
I pulled out some watercolor paper and cut it into quarter sheets. I created a lot of different colors and several green paper for leaves and foliage. I sprayed the powders with Perfect Pearl water, giving them a beautiful shine and shimmer.
When the paper was completely dry the layers of the flower layers were cut from purple cardstock and the leaves from green.
A panel of white cardstock was cut down with the Little B Frames die. I love this die it adds such a pretty focal background. The flower and leaves were adhered in place with liquid glue. Foam tape was added to the back of the frame.
The sentiment had been previously hot foiled and was adhered in place with liquid glue and foam squares.
The front of an A2 cardbase was dry embossed with a mosaic folder and the frame and focal image were adhered in place with foam tape.
I decided to use a pretty striped gem for the center of the flower and love the way it looks.
