Color Burst Fantasy Floral Hooray

I was going through on of my drawers and saw my stash of Ken Oliver Color Burst Powders and decided it was time to pull them out and create some cards. There will be several cards using this medium.

I pulled out some watercolor paper and cut it into quarter sheets. I created a lot of different colors and several green paper for leaves and foliage. I sprayed the powders with Perfect Pearl water, giving them a beautiful shine and shimmer.

When the paper was completely dry the layers of the flowers were cut from blue and yellow, and the green from a lovely bright green. The layers were adhered together with liquid glue.

I wanted to have a pretty background for the flowers, so I went through my dies and pulled out several. For this card I decided to use the Altenew Mid Century Frame die and cut it from a brushed gold cardstock. I used my infinity circle dies to cut a white circle to adhered the frame to. Foam tape was added to the back for some additional dimension. The flowers were adhered to the pretty frame with liquid glue.

A quarter sheet panel of white cardstock was cut down with a stitched rectangle die and then dry embossed with Simon Says Stamps Criss Cross Floral Embossing Folder. It was adhered to a top folding cardbase with dotliner adhesive and then the flower frame was adhered in place by removing the backing paper on the foam.

The word "hooray" was cut from the same brushed gold cardstock and four more time from a heavy weight white cardstock and adhered together with liquid glue. It was adhered below the floral frame with liquid glue. The secondary sentiment was stamped on a scrap of white cardstock with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed gold. It was adhered in place with small foam squares.
