Chuck - Enjoy the Ride!

My daughter's boyfriend is having his birthday the end of the month. He is wanting to get himself a new motorcycle and it wants it to be olive green, which is his favorite color. Janae showed me a picture of the one he is looking at, and even the metal structure is a very dark olive green, so that is how I colored this image.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored it with Copic Markers. It was cut out using the Silhouette PIXScan Mat. Low loft foam tape was added to the back for dimension.

I cut down a rectangle of white cardstock and ink blended it look like a road, grass, and sky. For some reason the ink blending did not smooth out, but by then I had adhered the motorcycle and I wasn't going to redo it.

The sentiment is from Honey Bee Stamps Take a Ride. It was stamped with a dark green ink and then cut out using the coordinating die and adhered with liquid glue in the upper left of the ink blended rectangle.

I cut a rectangle of silver mirror cardstock with a larger stitched rectangle and then ran it through the Spellbinders Platinum to add some great visual interest to the panel. The focal image rectangle was adhered on top with low loft foam tape. Everything was then adhered to a landscape A2 cardbase made from a dark grey cardstock.
