I cut a panel of white cardstock with the Memory Box Matinee Rectangle die and then embossed it with the Spellbinders Birthday Floating Balloons. I originally planned to use two large balloons cut from patterned paper, but felt they were too large for the panel, so I cut two smaller balloons using the Birch Press Designs Party Balloons die.
I used a couple of different stamps sets for the sentiments on the solid balloons. They were stamped with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed white. Black balloon strings were added. The red polka dot balloon was adhered to the embossed panel with liquid glue. The two solid sentiment balloons were adhered with low loft foam tape and liquid glue on the strings.
I felt like there needed to be more visual interest on the card, so I pulled out the largest matinee rectangle and cut it out using red cardstock. The embossed panel was then adhered in place with dotliner adhesive.
