Blue Flower Bouquet – Smile It’s Your Birthday

I have a good friend whose favorite colors are blue and green. I had recently purchased the Pink Fresh Studio Thanks for Being There stamp and die and decided to use it for her birthday card.

I first stamped the image with a light Copic friendly ink a colored the image with several different blue shades. It was then placed in the MISTI again and stamped with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed gold. I then cut out the image with the coordinating die.

A decorative panel was cut out using the second largest Little Be Frames die. I love the stitched detail around the edge. It was adhered to a top folding cardbase with low loft foam tape.

The stamp set includes a few sentiment with coordinating dies. I decided to use the word "smile" and pair it with a sentiment from My Favorite Things. I laid the flower die cut and the smile sentiment on the decorative panel to determine where to stamp "it's your day" with VersaMark Ink and heat emboss it gold. "Smile" was also stamped and embossed in gold.

The flower image was adhered in place with low loft foam tape. Gold confetti was scattered around the flowers and the card was done.
