This is the second image that was stamped with My Favorite Things' Balloon Bundle using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink so that it could be colored with Copic Markers. For this card I decided to keep it more masculine and used blue and green markers to color the balloons. Once the color was complete it was restamped with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed gold. The image was cut out using the coordinating die and again from Darice Sticky Back Foam. The two were adhered together by removing the backing paper on the foam.
I went through my patterned paper and found this great subtle blue and white strip. It was cut using a stitched rectangle and adhered to a top folding white cardbase with dotliner adhesive.
I recently purchased Hero Arts Birthday Stamp and Cut XL. It has some great word stamps that coordinate with die cut words. I like the font that was used on the die cuts and decided to cut it from white cardstock, and again from sticky back foam. The two were adhered together by removing the backing paper on the foam.
The balloons and sentiment were adhered to the blue striped paper with liquid glue. A scattering of marshmallow confetti was adhered with liquid glue around the balloon and sentiment. At the last minute I decided to take a glue pen and add some details to every other letter of the sentiment and add gold embossing. My Friend does this to add some bling to the flowers she colors. I liked the result.
