I wanted to create a black and white background for a single colorful cupcake. I pulled out the My Favorite Things All the Cupcakes Stamps and arranged them on a panel of white cardstock, changing the orientation to add visual interest.
I decided to place this panel onto a scalloped rectangle cut from black cardstock. The panel was cut down using a stitched rectangle die to fit into the center of the scalloped rectangle and adhered in place with dotliner adhesive.
I stamped the cupcake from the Rabbit Hole Designs Sweet Wishes Stamp and Die set with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Colored it with Copic markers and then used the coordinating die to cut it out. Foam Tape was added to the back and it was adhered in the center of the background panel.
I used a previously hot foiled sentiment and adhered it directly below the cupcake. The final embellishments were to add Glossy Accents to the cherry and White Blizzard Glitter Crops to the hearts.
