Birthday Wishes Bold Blooms

I had pulled out My Favorite Things Bold Blooms dies and went searching on line for examples of cards that had been created with them. I saw a lovely designs by Rachel Alvarado. She used white, purple, and yellow for her flowers. I decided to use a light aqua, pink, and white. This card also uses a lot of her layout design using various leaves from the Bold Leaves dies in different colors of green cardstock.

The two layers of the flowers were adhered together with foam squares. The flower centers were adhered with liquid glue. I like to add a little ink blended to my die cuts to add dimension and depth.

A panel of white cardstock was cut using the stitched eyelet rectangle die and the flowers and leaves were laid in place to determine placement and where to stampe the sentiment. Once the sentiments was stamped the leaves were adhered using liquid glue, along with the two medium aqua flowers. The large white flower was adhered in place with foam squares. Three small pink flowers were scattered around the arrangement and adhered with liquid glue. I decided to use gold rhinestones for the small pink flowers and added Nuvo Glitter Drops in White Blizzard to the larger flower centers.

I decided to adhered the eyelet rectangle to a darker teal cardbase. I think it really lets the flowers pop.
