My husband needed a birthday card for a young lady at church who's favorite color is blue. I had some leftover alcohol ink background and used it to create this card.
The background was cut down with a scalloped rectangle die and adhered to a landscape cardbase with dotliner adhesive.
The large sentiment with confetti is from Simon Says Stamp. It was cut from gold mirror cardstock and the sentiment an additional two times from heavy weight white cardstock. The layers were adhered together with liquid glue. The confetti pieces were adhered directly to the background and then the sentiment was adhered in place with the same adhesive.
I decided to add two candles on either side of the sentiment. Gold stickles was added to the candle flames.
