Big Birthday Wishes Shaker

cardtheraphy51

This card uses the positive letters from the previous card. It too is a shaker, but this time it is one large well.

I first cut a rectangle using a Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle die that is the size of an A2 cardbase. A smaller rectangle die was used to create the frame. Acetate was adhered to the back of the frame with dotliner adhesive. The letters of the sentiment die were adhered in place with liquid glue. To ensure they were in the right place, the negative rectangle from the previous card was used, before creating the previous card.

Foam Strips were added to the back of the frame. A mix of purple sequins was added to the well. Purple cardstock was cut just smaller than the frame to act as the backing for the shaker. It was adhered in place by removing the backer paper on the foam strips.

The shaker panel was adhered to a top folding cardbase with liquid glue. I decided to make the "I" in the sentiment a candle by adding a flame leftover from a previous card.
