I love going to back to some older dies and creating new cards with them. I was in need of some masculine birthday cards and decided to pull out this great die set from Spellbinders. I cut the layers from different blue cardstock and adhered them to a panel of navy cardstock, making sure not to add glue to the edges so that I cut tuck in the fish, seaweed, and other elements. A panel of what cardstock was cut using the largest water die and adhered over the top of the blue layers with liquid glue.
I pulled out scraps of cardstock to cut all the different creatures and elements in my underwater scene and adhered the layers together with liquid glue. Shading was added with Copic Markers. Before adhering all the elements to the water scene a sentiment was stamped with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed white to the center of the water, then everything was tucked into the different layers of water.
