Beautiful Echinacea Coneflowers Enjoy

This is another die from the latest release from Spellbinders. This one was easy to assemble since it only has two layers of petals.

I cut the flower from three different colors of cardstock and ink blended the center with a darker color than the paper. They were then adhered together with liquid glue.

The flower centers of these flowers are made up of many little stars, which are glued together to create the coneflower dome. I decided to pull out a round flower center from the Be Bold Blooms die as a base for the stars. Both were cut from a dark brown cardstock. The base was adhered to the center of each flower and then the small stars were adhered in place with liquid glue. I really like the way it turned out.

The leaves were cut from scraps of green cardstock and ink blended with a darker green ink.

A panel of Whisper Cardstock was cut using the Papertrey Ink Scalloped Oval Die. It was embossed with the Stampin' TUp Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder to add visual interest behind the flowers. The flowers were laid on the oval to determine where to adhered the leaves with liquid glue. The flowers were then adhered in place with foam squares.

The sentiment was cut from gold mirror cardstock and an additional three times from white cardstock. The layers were adhered together with liquid glue and then adhered below the flowers.

I decided to add a panel of dark brown cardstock to a top folding cardbase. It too was embossed with the Tasteful Textile folder and then adhered to the card front with foam tape.
