Balloon Background with Gold Accents

cardtheraphy51

When I first got this die I didn't purchase the coordinating stencil. I would recommend getting both. It makes it so much easier and quicker to color the balloons.

The stencil has three layers so you can color the balloons y in three colors. I decided on green, yellow, and orange. Now that I look at it they look like lemons, limes, and mandarin oranges, but I like them. Confetti details were added with a gold metallic gelly roll pen.

Low loft foam tape was added to the back of each balloon. When I went to add it to a card front it looked pretty plain, so I cut a panel of white cardstock with a stitched rectangle die and dry embossed it with the Spellbinder Dazzling Dots. The panel was adhered to the card front with liquid glue and the backing paper was removed from the back of the balloons which were adhered to the front of the panel.

The sentiment had been previously hot foiled. It was adhered with foam tape as well.

A very quick and easy card.
