I really like this die set from Spellbinders. The cupcake wrapper creates a pocket for the cupcake, which can slide in and out.
I created the cupcake liner from patterned paper. All the other elements for the cupcake were cut from white cardstock. The cupcake was ink blended with a light brown ink. The candle, tag, and swirls were colored with red Copic Markers and the flame with golden yellow markers. The frosting was cut from brown cardstock.
The small sentiment on the tag and the word "pull" on the candle was stamped with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed white. Red and white baker's twine was added to the tag. The hidden sentiment was stamped with red ink.
A panel of red cardstock was cut with a stitched rectangle die. The front of the cardbase was dry embossed with the Spellbinder's Floating Balloons 3D Embossing Folder. Low loft foam tape was added to the back of the red panel, which then adhered to the card front by removing the backing paper on the foam.
The cupcake wrapper was adhered to the red panel with liquid glue on the side and bottom. The candle was adhered to the back of the cupcake with liquid glue and the tag to the front of the cupcake wrapper with liquid glue as well. The cupcake was tucked into the cupcake wrapper pocket and the card was done.
