There are three ladies at church who are struggling with some personal issues. I was asked to created some cards that several women could sign giving them encouragements.
For this first card I pulled out the Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers Peony die set. I love Honey Bee layering dies, they made beautiful flowers and are so easy to align. I cut the peony layers from pink cardstock. I always add ink blending to my layers. I think the flowers are pretty without blending, but they are flat and lifeless. Once the ink blending was done the layers were adhered together with liquid glue.
I cut down a quarter sheet of cardstock with a stitched rectangle die and then dry embossed it with Simon Says Stamp's Cross Cross Floral 3D Embossing Folder. It was adhered to a top folding A2 cardbase with liquid glue. The flowers and leaves were adhered in place with liquid glue.
The sentiment was cut from gold mirror cardstock and adhered below the flowers. A few gold confetti sequins were scattered around the flowers and the card was done.
