We've had a few babies born to friends and family in the last few weeks. I recently purchased this cut bib die from Papertrey Ink. For this first card the big was cut from a blue and white polka dot. The pocket on the bib was cut from blue cardstock. It was adhered using liquid glue to the bottom and sides of the pocket, leaving it open to tuck the cut little narwhale inside.
The sentiments and narwhale are from the same die set. I decided to heat emboss the word "boy" under the word "baby" with VersaMark Ink and heat emboss it white. Low loft foam tape was added to the back of the bib.
A panel of white cardstock was cut down with a stitched rectangle and then embossed with the Spellbinders' Diamond Plaid embossing folder. A light application of blue in was added to the raised areas of the embossing. The panel was matted with blue cardstock and adhered to a top folding A2 cardbase with low loft foam tape. The bib was adhered in place by removing the backing on the foam tape. I decided to accent the stitched detail on the bib with a white gel pen.
