Friendship Blooms: Friend You Mean the World to Me

Sometimes, if we are really lucky we meet someone who becomes an anchor in our lives. Their friendship supports and sustains us, and we are better people because we know them. Denise is one such friend. I created this card to send to her to let her know how special she is to me.

The image was first stamped with Memento London Fog Ink and then colored with Copic Markers. When the coloring was complete it was stamped again with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed gold. I cut down the panel using a scalloped rectangle die. To add visual interest A then frame was cut from gold mirror cardstock and adhered to the image. The sentiment was cut from gold mirror cardstock and the shadow from green. The secondary sentiment was stamped on a scrap of green cardstock and heat embossed gold, then cut down with a fishtail sentiment die.
