I was going through on of my drawers and saw my stash of Ken Oliver Color Burst Powders and decided it was time to pull them out and create some cards. There will be several cards using this medium.
I pulled out some watercolor paper and cut it into quarter sheets. I created a lot of different colors and several green paper for leaves and foliage. I sprayed the powders with Perfect Pearl water, giving them a beautiful shine and shimmer.
This card uses another set of old dies from Altenew. They are similar to the Garden Pick dies but have a little different shape to the flowers.
This card uses the Penny Black All-in-One Oval die. I recently purchased this and really love the pretty focal background that it adds. Foam tape was added to the back of the oval rectangle. It was laid on a top folding cardbase, along with the flower and leaves to determine where to stamp the sentiment. The leaves were adhered with liquid glue and the flowers with a combination of liquid glue and foam squares. The panel was then adhered to the cardbase by removing the backing paper on the foam.
